While the ‘on-ground’ event is only open to unitholders, Distribution Partners and certain other select invitees, it will also be live-streamed to viewers-at-large, on YouTube, said the fund house.
In this meet, the CEO and fund management team put themselves up for scrutiny of unitholders/partners and answer queries ranging from portfolio constituents, operations, and the road ahead. Over the years, the Fund has also used this forum to make certain key announcements.
Neil Parag Parikh, Chairman and CEO, PPFAS Mutual Fund said, “Due to the pandemic we held our last two Annual Meets online. This year we are using a hybrid model and organising a physical event which will also be live-streamed on YouTube. We have always believed that investors and partners have the right to know everything about the schemes, the management and other issues related to their investment. This is a platform where we can freely and transparently interact.”
PPFAS Mutual Fund – which has been conducting such Unitholders’ Meets since its inception in May 2013 – is the only fund house in India to organise such an event at scale.
The Fund House, which currently has a presence in fifteen cities through offices and representatives, offers four schemes and manages Rs 31,134.53 crores as per factsheet for October 2022.
